Dominican Republic; The red
and blue colors were taken from the Haitian flag. The blue stands
for freedom and the red stands for the sacrifice for that freedom.
The white cross represents the Christian faith.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
